WILD Oats founder Michael Gilliland has been charged with child prostitution after trying buy an underage girl online.
The Sunflower Farmer's market CEO is accused of trying to solicit sex with the minor, who identified herself as underage.
One of eight men busted, he has now resigned from the firm which has locations in seven states and plans to expand it's 32 stores.
Back in 2007, the grocery store magnate sold Wild Oats Markets Inc to Whole Foods Market for millions of dollars, before taking the helm at Sunflower.
Sunflower said he told the company he believes he is not guilty, but he has still been replaced for the foreseeable future by president and COO, Chris Sherrell, was named acting chief executive by the company's board of directors.
Sherrell said: "Sunflower appreciates the respect that Mr. Gilliland has shown for the company by his action so that his personal affairs will not affect the company."
