$50K REWARD FOR "AMBUSH AND ASSASSINATION"

REWARD money for a vicious cop killer who launched an: "Ambush and assassination" on two Athens cops has hit $50,000.
Hundreds of officers from all of Georgia's law enforcement agencies, have joined the search for vicious shooter Jamie Hood, who killed father of four, Elmer "Buddy" Christian when he tried stop him for a car jacking.  
He is also accused of shooting Senior Police Officer Tony H. Howard, 43 although he is is expected to recover from head and chest wounds in the hospital.

Lumpkin said of the killing: "It’s assassination, it's ambushing police. He should be considered as extremely dangerous."
Hood had already carjacked one woman, before he shot the officers.
She told WSBTV that she pulled up to a stop sign and: "He just grabbed the car latch and got in the car."
Pulling out a gun he told her the police were after him and she needed to drive quickly but five minutes later he let her out which she called: "A miracle." 
When officer Howard pulled over Hood, he appeared to be compliant but then he got out of the vehicle and opened fire on the officer, police said.
Fleeing the scene he ran into Christian's police cruiser and opened fire, fatally wounding him.
Then he stole another car and escaped.  
A $50,000 reward has been put up for information leading to his arrest.
