EVIL JAMES MOSS STUFFED SON IN OVEN; GETS 24 DAYS

'SADISTIC'
AN EVIL dad who stuffed his son in the oven after burning his hands on the hob will spend just 24 days behind bars for the 'sadistic' attack.  James Moss, who stands at 6ft2 and weighs over 270lbs thought his then nine-year-old son, Christopher had stolen $20 from his wallet.
So after stripping the boy, he dragged him in the kitchen where he battered him with a spatula and heated the hobs on the stove top.
Then when he deemed them hot enough, he forced the boys hands onto the burners and held them there until the charred skin began to peel off. He then punched the boys face and forced him into the oven, holding the door shut and threatening to burn him alive, despite the
boys pleading.
Finally he relented, but threw the still naked Christopher, now 11, out of the front door of their Staten Island, NY home, where he waited crying until his mom came home and rushed him to hospital.
Richmond County DA Daniel Donovan called the case "sadistic".
He said: "In over 15 years as a district attorney and an assistant district attorney, this was one of the most shocking and sadistic cases of child abuse I have ever prosecuted."
Astonishingly his son was the most influential in securing the short sentence for Moss, who could have got a maximum sentence of seven years for his grotesque punishment.
Inseatd he will serve four months of weekends at Rikers Island prison and five years probation after Christopher told the court he had forgiven his father.

SPACE CADET LISA NOWAK BOOTED FROM NAVY

SPACE CADET
SHE really was a space cadet - in fact she was a genuine astronaut.
But after driving 1000 miles, wearing diapers so she wouldn't have to stop to attack her love rival, Lisa Nowak will never see the stars again after she was booted out of the Navy.
Furious that that Air Force Capt. Colleen Shipman  had started a relationship with former space shuttle pilot Bill Oefelein, a Navy commander, who she had also been seeing for two years, plotted her revenge.
Armed with pepper spray canister found in the parking lot, a BB pistol, 4-inch hunting knife, a rubber mallet, rubber tubing, large garbage bag, she then drove to Orlando International Airport and lay in wait for her rival, who was flying in from Houston.
According to cops Shipman said that after arriving, she was aware of someone following her to an airport satellite parking area. When she got into her car, she heard running footsteps and quickly locked the door. Nowak slapped the window and tried to open the car door, asked for a ride, then started crying.
Rolling down the window a couple of inches after which Nowak sprayed the pepper spray into the car, before Shipman drove off and called the cops.
On November 10, 2009, Nowak agreed to a plea deal with prosecutors and pleaded guilty to charges of felony burglary of a car and misdemeanor battery
She was sentenced to a year's probation.
Almost immediately, she was dismissed from the astronaut corps and since then she has been working at the Chief of Naval Air Training station in Corpus Christi, TX.
But now Top Navy brass said that she will be forced to retire with an 'other than honorable' discharge.
The discharge may affect Nowak's veterans' benefits and her pay grade was knocked down one rank.
Juan Garcia, the assistant secretary of the Navy for manpower and reserve affairs, said in a statement: "Capt. Nowak’s conduct fell well short of that expected of senior officers in our Navy and demonstrated a complete disregard for the well-being of a fellow service member."
Oefelein and Shipman subsequently retired from the military and married Ocala.com reports.
Nowak, who has been stationed in Corpus Christi, Texas, could not be reached for comment.

WEDDING NIGHT FIGHT: GROOM JOHN TWOMBLY BUSTED

DUMB GROOM
IT should have been the happiest night of his life, but instead John Twombly spent his first night as a married man behind burn, after fighting with one of his groomsman.
Cops say he was furious when one of his groomsman, Travis Cullen, was dancing "inappropriately" with his new wife Khamla.
So the newlywed who according to a police report "seemed very intoxicated" shoved his pal into a ceramic pillar with such force that he knocked it over.
It fell near guest, Andrew Phipps, who just happened to be an off duty cop, who tried to subdue him.
Police reports say Phipps ducked several punches from Twombly, then grabbed him and fell into a wall when other officers joined the scuffle.
He was then hauled off to the cells to sober up.
Fellow guest John Ellsworth Frederick Schildberg III, 63, was also arrested, but told the Des Moines Register: "The police officer completely lost it."
"I didn't touch the officer at all except on his bicep, and he went berserk on me. He pinned my head down with his knee."
He added the number of officers who attended, estimated to be between 20 and 30, was also unnecessary.
"You don't get that many at a bank robbery," he said.
Twombly was charged with criminal mischief, two counts of assault on an officer, and disorderly conduct.

WHAT A WEASEL? DEAD ANIMAL USED IN ASSAULT

WHAT a weasel.
Bursting into his apartment with a dead weasel under his arm, a furious man smashed another guy in the face because he thought he was sleeping with his girlfriend, cops say.
According to the police report the baffled victim spotted the carcass and asked, "Why are you carrying a weasel?"
Wrongly his attacker answered: "It's not a weasel, it's a marten," before punching the man in the nose and fleeing - leaving his furry friend behind in the Hoquiam, WA apartment.
Cops later found the suspect arguing with his girlfriend at another location but despite being at gunpoint he refused to surrender, tried to fight officers several times and held his ground until a dog unit was called in for back-up.
He was charged with assault and burglary, reckless driving without a license and resisting arrest.
He said he had found the dead animal near but police don't know why he carried it with him.

LESS COWBELL? MISS. MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO ASSAULT

HE'S definitely not Christopher Walken, because William Brasher definitely wanted less cowbell, after being smacked with one during a college football game.
His ears were left ringing and he suffered a huge cut to his head after Brent Vowell hit him with one during the huge Mississippi State - Ole Miss rival game back in 2009.
Vowell pleaded guilty to misdemeanor simple assault and received a 45-day sentence to be served on weekends, according to The Clarion-Ledger.
But Brasher isn't leaving it there, he's also launched a civil suit against the South Eastern Conference seeking unspecified damages.
It claims the league knowingly refused to enforce its own rule against "artificial noisemakers," including the cowbells long favored by Mississippi State fans.
