York vanished off the streets in Bloomington on June 3 after a heavy night of partying. Video has revealed that she was wrecked and could barely stand up. A pal said HE was wrecked and she helped him home. Lauren's parents and cops are frustrated that her friends are not being exactly forthcoming about her movements on June 3. Extensive searches have failed to turn up any indication of what may have happened. However, detectives are looking at links between her disappearance and the attempted strangulation of another woman near where the 20-year-old lived.

THOUSANDS of mourner lined the streets to pay their respects to tragic Leiby Kltezky who was killed and dismembered after innocently asking a stranger for help to find his way home. The eight-year-old Hasidic boy lost his way on his first walk home alone, from day camp when cops say he was abducted by 35-year-old Levi Aron who kidnapped, suffocated and dismembered with a kitchen knife. When detectives tracked him down, Aron, who works as a clerk in the city's Kensington neighborhood is said to have confessed to the brutal murder, saying he killed the child 'in a panic' after the search for the boy became high-profile. 
He was busted after leading them to other parts of Leiby's body, stuffed in a red suitcase and hidden in a Dumpster outside an auto repair shop about two miles away, NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly said at a news conference.

Cops are also investigating a separate incident where he may have tried to lure another young boy into his car.

Yesterday as up to 10,000 people lined Brooklyn's streets his heartbroken father Nachman Kletzky's tears flowed during his emotional funeral speech.  
He said: "Here lies my child. Purity of heart. Very quiet and very respectful. Satisfied and never demanding. My child is gone. I'm in very deep sorrow." 

Rabbi Benjamin Eisenberger stressed the community's resilience and unity and thanked them for their support. 

He said: "I see and appreciate the love from the community. Love emanates from the community and God. We must continue to show support for family."

Leiby is survived by his parents and three sisters, NY1 reported.

HUNDREDS SEARCH FOR MISSING LAUREN SPIERER

WHERE'S Lauren Spierer? Three weeks after her bizarre disappearance after partying in Bloomington, Indiana no trace has been found of the New York native, 20. A wide variety of rumors have emerged and cops remain tight-lipped. A wide array of rumors have also emerged, including suggestions the pretty blonde OD'd after hammering cocaine all night--she does have a heart condition--and her pals panicked and hid her body. A boyfriend remembers nothing of June 3 where he partied till the week hours with Lauren.
Saturday saw hundreds of volunteers scour rural areas around the university town. It is not known if anything was found that brought detectives closer to finding the fashion marketing student.

Volunteer Megan Sharkey told WTHR-TV: "They told us to be on the look out to be on the lookout for anything she might have been wearing. She had black leggings and a white V-neck. The least I can do is, you know, come help search."

NOOOOOO. Teen superstar Justin Bieber was viciously attacked by a man at a promotional event in New York yesterday. The terrified heartthrob was knocked down and suffered minor injuries out side Macy's in Herald Square. The attacker was in his 40s and taken into custody and given a summons for disorderly conduct, according to the New York Daily News.
Apparently, the nutbar is a fan which of course is hard enough to believe with most 12-year-olds but there you go.
The News said amateur video of the attack showed cops nabbing the attacker (hater?) and hustling the 17-year-old Bieb back into the store. Thousands of
pre-pubescent girls waited for the singer who was launching his new fragrance, "Someday" (hahahaha). Amber Wende, 13, told the News three of her friends had one of their momsdrive them to New York so they could hunt Bieb down.
She said: "We went to the Today Show then 'The View' and to Macy's. "He stared at us for 10 seconds. I know he saw us."

Two of them took place in Johnsen's car, they said, and the third happened at the teacher's home on Staten Island. The hot-to-trot educator allegedly romanced the teen and then her, ahem, hand to do the dirty on the girl. But the Daily News says Johnsen suddenly came to her senses and broke it off.
Our heartbroken teen was devastated and like many of her peers went straight to Tumblr to blog about it. A guidance teacher was tipped off and that was all she wrote.

COPS in Indiana have released a new timeline as they try to piece together co-ed Lauren Spierer's night before she vanished into thin air. Spierer, a 20-year-old student from Westchester disappeared June 3rd, 2011 after a night of partying.
So far, thousands of volunteers have tried to find her but to no avail. One of the strongest leads is this "suspicious pickup" truck seen in the area before Lauren disappeared.

Cops in Indiana fear a New York co-ed may have met with foul play after she vanished Friday after a night of partying at a Midwest bar. Lauren Spierer, 20, a pretty blonde sophomore at Indiana University was last spotted in bare feet walking home alone in Bloomington.
Her dad Robert told the New York Post: "It's every parent's nightmare." Surveillance video from her apartment complex reveals she never made it home and her keys were discovered a block away from where she was last seen. Investigators are now scouring nearby woods, dumpsters and back alleys for any sign of the petite student--who stands just 4'11" and weighs a mere 100 lbs. Her wealthy parentshave flown to Indiana to help with the search say she has a heart defect and requires meds.

Childhood pal Rebecca Lefkowitz said Lauren is cautious: "She's brilliant. She would never put herself in a dangerous situation. We're all hoping and praying. We know she'll come home, and we won't leave any stone unturned in trying to find her"

But Police Lt. Bill Parker was gloomy: "We certainly think there could be foul play."

ANOTHER NY HOTEL MAID ATTACKED BY BANKER

ANOTHER day, another banker and another attack on a maid at an exclusive New York Hotel. What is it with these guys?
Just weeks after former IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn was busted on similar charges, a former chairman of one of Egypt's major banks stands accuses of sexually abusing a maid at The Pierre, a luxury hotel on The Big Apple's, Upper East Side. 
Mahmoud Abdel Salam Omar allegedly called the maid to his room on Sunday night to "drop off tissues"  cops said. 
But once inside the 74-year-old's room Omar would not let her leave and touched her inappropriately. The encounter was not reported until Monday, police said.
NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said detectives found the complainant to be credible and he was being held Monday night at a police precinct.Omar is the former chairman of Egypt's Bank of Alexandria, but is currently an executive with El-Mex Salines Co., according to the salt production company's website.
The hotel attack comes about two weeks after Strauss-Kahn quit as managing director of the IMF, on May 18, after he was charged with sexually assaulting a maid at a different city hotel, the Sofitel, near Times Square. He has denied the allegations, but is under house arrest as he awaits trial.

A genuinely stupid guy who believes he has business acumen. Now, the tobacco-juice spewing nimrod is making a plea to the public through the pages of the New York Post re. his current plight. Oh, you haven't heard? Bankrupt, fraud, steroid accusations, bounced checks to hookers and on and on and on and on.

What I have somehow lived through the past 2½ years, and continue to live through now, makes me fully understand that God would never make someone endure what I have endured unless there was a reason for it. MAN, WOMAN BURNED IN CRAZY NYC ACID ATTACK

TALK about acid reflex! An angry--and likely totally bonkers--Brooklyn, NY woman threw sulfuric acid on a 59-year-old man Sunday, severely burning him. And herself. Cops say the victim and the attacker had second-and-third degree burns and "had to be decontaminated" by EMT crews on the street.
FDNY Battalion Chief George Johnson said: "They had some acid on them and their flesh was still burning." The duo were taken to the burn unit of a local hospital and the woman was arrested. Cops had released no names as of last night.


 It wasn't clear what prompted the psycho attack or exactly which acidic substance was used. According to the New York Daily News, it is found ijn car batteries, some fertilizers and cleaning products. The stuff used Sunday was intense enough to leave large holes in a mattress, the News added.
The haz-mat unit that treated the two also set up a containment pool - a small enclosure where the chemicals could be washed off in privacy on the street.
