In the UK they have free healthcare, virtually unlimited welfare programs, and a large list of government freebees. As such, you have generation upon generation of British people that expect the government to take care of them from the cradle to the grave.



Under the weight of England’s astronomical social spending, the conservative British government is forced to take austerity measures to reduce spending and as a result these hoards of slothful people fueled by class warfare rhetoric are wilding out in streets.

This is the false hope of establishing a Socialist Utopia which the UK has become. It was bound to collapse like it always does in every country where it is tried.



Fortunately for us in the United States, the UK is 20 years ahead of us on the Socialism model. But, make no mistake we’re on the same glide path with Barack Obama as president. We have it in our hands to correct course and learn from our cousins across the ocean.

The reason the U.S. was downgraded was because of the amount of our national debt, 16 trillion and climbing.

Both Republicans and Democrats came up with the stupid idea that our debt ceiling should be increased as a matter of course. In addition to this, they agreed on a bogus spending cut that is tantamount to throwing a Dixie cup of water on the fire that consumed half of Chicago in 1871.

So they solved nothing!

Even with this spending cut agreement, the national debt will continue to grow 1.5 trillion a year.

However, President Obama and the Democrats bear the biggest responsibility because it’s their outrageous spending: ObamaCare, Stimulus, Cash for Clunkers, free cell phones for the poor, extending unemployment to 99 weeks, and a host of other free giveaways to re-distribute our wealth that has America on the course of becoming Greece.

It’s Obama’s “only government” can solve our problems mentality that has this country in quicksand!

The real enemy of America is not the Tea Party, its Progressive/Liberal policies

They don’t believe in freedom of the individual because they think people are stupid and need to be led by the nose by Harvard and Yale trained elites.
A Progressive’s worst nightmare is a highly educated and motivated populace with the drive to achieve great things WITHOUT the help of mother government.

That’s why they’ve made it their business to control every public school system in the nation to ensure that our most precious resource, our children are hopeless locked in failing schools. Keep the kids ignorant so they become more dependent on the state. Graduation rates for African Americans and Latinos are failing just the way Progressives want them to.

Does Lawrence O’Donnell matter?

He’s the guy the powers at MSNBC slid into the 8:00 pm slot to compete against The O’Reily Factor on FOX.

Did you stop laughing yet?

I guess Larry is a nice enough guy, pretty decent actor when he’s not yelling or making snarky remarks about Sarah Palin. But, after watching him try to act cool and intellectual with his I-used-to-be-a-congressional staffer credentials, there isn’t much there there.

A trait that O’Donnell shares with other MSNBC hosts like Chris Matthews, Ed Shultz, Rachael “The Karate Kid” Maddow, and the recently added Al Sharpton, is that a show doesn’t go by without them having a segment on Sarah Palin, Fox News, The Tea Party, or their big favorite--Rush Limbaugh. In fact, if they didn’t have a Rush Limbaugh segment on every one of their shows they wouldn’t have enough material to fill an hour. However, not one program on FOX rarely if ever mentions anything going on MSNBC.

So, there isn’t much that Lawrence O’Donnell brings to the table other than the usual FOX envy. Maybe that’s why their ratings are so bad?

New York Depravity: Same Sex marriage begins today 7-24-11

I heard Mayor Mike Bloomberg say yesterday on the radio that the government doesn’t have any business deciding who can’t get married.

That’s really funny because I thought government is supposed to be for the people, of the people, and by the people.

As such the voters of New York State did not get the opportunity to voice their opinion at the ballot box like other states have.

This horrid decision was made by politicians in Albany with their mouths open and hands extended only too happy to be lobbied by Pro Gay Marriage groups with fat wallets.

Make no mistake; this was a sham of democracy!

In other states where Same Sex Marriage was put to a vote by the people, in every single one, even California, it was voted down.

But, Gov Andrew Cuomo, himself a person of dubious morale character ( i.e. fornication), did not want the people to decide. He preferred the issue be settled by one of the most dysfunctional and corrupt state legislatures in the country.

So the fix was in!

As a result, millions of New Yorkers have been disenfranchised.

So believe not that this is a happy day for the majority of New Yorkers. It’s a travesty of our political system to sooth the souls of yet another minority that seeks the state’s stamp of approval for their lifestyle.

It’s was never about marriage equality. That’s just a bunch of smoke to fool the people.



A historic change in New York: Same sex marriage is now legal

In 1988, Monti Willett and Donna Stork, now of Fayetteville, were married by an Episcopal priest in Erie, Pa.

As far as the state of Pennsylvania was concerned, it didn’t count.

A few years later, after they moved to Colorado, they walked into Denver’s City Hall and got a certificate declaring them “companions.” It gave them no extra rights, but it at least acknowledged their relationship, Willett said.

Three years ago, when they were thinking of moving to New Jersey, they had another wedding there. It provided some legal protection, but still no official marriage.

Today, in Syracuse, their long quest for full recognition will end. The couple, who have been together for 42 years, plan to drive to City Hall and pick up a license for a marriage that will be entirely legal in the state of New York.

“It’s something I believe we should have been able to do right along,” said Willett, 64. “As far as I’m concerned, I am as married as I could be; we’ve made our vows to each other. But I do want the legal status.”

Couples will be claiming that status today across the state. Clerks’ offices in Syracuse, Ithaca and a number of other cities and towns will be open for a historic piece of business — granting permission for gay and lesbian couples to enter into marriages equal in the state’s eyes to those of heterosexual couples.

New York will become the sixth and largest state in the nation to recognize those marriages, and many couples are eager to exercise their new rights.

Syracuse City Clerk John Copanas, whose office will be open on a Sunday for the first time in at least two decades, says he expects at least 15 to 20 couples to pick up licenses between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. A few are expected to seek waivers from the usual 24-hour waiting period and actually tie the knot today.

New ministers ordained to officiate at same-sex weddings around New York

John DeLamar will stand before two of his closest friends tomorrow and proudly pronounce them newlyweds.

The 29-year-old has not officiated at a wedding before, and never had ambitions to become a minister, but New York's same-sex marriage bill changed all that.

"When gay marriage passed, I thought it would be great [to get ordained]," said DeLamar, who will conduct the service in a studio in midtown. "When my friends asked me to marry them, I was really moved. We've been fighting for gay marriage together - we marched on Washington, we've been campaigning and pamphleting to get it approved. Marrying them is a great responsibility."

The Brooklyn resident is one of an ever-growing number of New Yorkers who have chosen to become ministers via a simple online process since gay marriage passed the senate last month.

Some, like DeLamar, were approached by newly engaged friends to perform the ceremony.

Others wanted to show their support for the historic vote or ensure there are enough ministers on hand to cope with the increased demand.

"When the law passed, I felt there were so many people out there wanting to get married that I would sign up and be an option for them," said Nancy McAlley, a registered nurse from Brewster, N.Y., who became ordained by the Universal Life Church Monastery just over a week ago.

She will qualify as an interfaith minister next summer, but did not want to wait that long to assist same-sex couples.
"I think gay couples deserve the same rights as straight couples," McAlley, 61, said. "I'm open to doing the ceremonies anywhere."

The Fiddler mentality in the African American community

When I can’t find anything on TV worth watching, I frequently turn to my DVD collection to select something I know meets my standards. So I went through the pile and came across Roots, a mini-series from the mid 70s that caused quite a stir.

Without going into much detail, Roots is the saga of an American family that traces the family history of a an African warrior named Kunta Kinte from the time he was captured in West Africa to the day his decedents settled in Henning Tennessee as freed people.

I was in grade school when this mini-series was first shown. So I understood with the mind of a 12 year old boy. Some of my friends got mad watching it, while others didn’t get upset at all.

But, looking at the film again as a 48 year old man, I can’t help seeing an analogy that still exists to this day.

Kunta, was born in freedom. It was all he knew, and to him it was the way his life ought to be. Fiddler, an American-born slave who was charged with teaching Kunta how to be a slave, didn’t know anything but living in bondage.

Their mindsets were completely different.

Kunta couldn’t accept living as a slave and his thoughts dwelled on escaping the plantation. Fiddler, on the other hand, couldn’t understand why Kunta wanted to flee the plantation at all. He wanted to keep the status quo of eating in the Big House, sleeping on pine floors in his cabin, and in his words saying, “That’s high livin’ for a nigga!”, and didn’t want Kunta to jeopardize all he worked for.

As a child, I thought Fiddler was a fool. But, looking at him now with more maturity, he wasn’t a fool at all. It’s not fair for me to fault a man for not yearning for freedom, if he never knew what freedom was.

Today, however the “Fiddler” mentality is still alive and well in the Black community because if you’re born Black, you have no choice of which political party one is supposed to support. The idea of independent and free political thought is quickly vanquished, not by the Overseer’s whip, but by rolled eyes and cutting words like “Uncle Tom”, “Oreo Cookie”, and the dreaded “Wannabe White”.

So I apologize for expecting more political Kunta Kintes yearning for freedom of thought. If that’s all you know, then that’s all you know.

Christian Lopez, nice guy or a world-class fool?

Christian Lopez, 25, is the guy who caught Derek Jeter’s 3,000 hit at Yankee Stadium last Saturday. The historic whack turned out to be a home run which made ball Lopez caught very valuable.

But, instead of holding onto the rock, Lopez, a huge Jeter fan, exchanged it for some signed jerseys and bats.

Since then there has been a great debate in New York circles portraying Lopez as a nice guy who did the “right thing” to the biggest chump on the planet who gave away a chance to make $250,000 dollars.

Lopez, to his credit said he’s young and can make that money in his lifetime. That’s a nice attitude to have and I hope he doesn’t lose it. However, had Lopez kept the ball and held out for big loot that also would’ve been the right and wise thing to do.
There’s no shame in securing a better future for one’s self by realizing a financial windfall for catching a baseball. Only idealistic Liberals, who live in their own world with no basis in reality, think that way.

I’m not saying that of Lopez, he’s just young.

MSNBC has officially becomes African American-politics channel by hiring notorious racial pimp, Al Sharpton

I thought it was very interesting that President Obama flew into New York a months ago the kiss the Al Sharpton’s ring. Candidate Obama in 2008 stayed as far away from Al as he could to feed the false perception of being the “post racial” candidate.

It was a nice game of bait and switch for public consumption.

But, a little reported factoid of that night was that MSNBC president Phil Griffin was also in attendance. A few weeks later Shapton makes up a bogus award and hands gives it to Griffin. And a few months after that Sharpton, one of the most notorious race baiters/attack dogs for the Democrat Party is hosting MSNBC Live.

Let’s be real here!

MSNBC is not a series news organization. It’s the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party masquerading as journalists. However, with the hiring of this charlatan in Al Sharpton, MSNBC has sunk to a new low, even for them.

In defense of Casey Anthony…passion not the rule

Hating Casey Anthony is not the standard our system of laws uses to determine guilt. Otherwise we would need a prison the size of Rhode Island to house all the people that rubbed us the wrong way.

I think Casey Anthony probably killed her daughter. But, isn’t it a good thing that this Florida jury had the courage to base their decision on the evidence, or lack thereof?

Suppose it was you on trial for murder with bits and pieces of circumstantial evidence that made you look very guilty? All of a sudden it’s your face plastered all over the tabloids and the talking heads with an axe to grind and TV ratings to worry about are calling for your head 24/7.

If a system of justice can find a person as universally hated as Casey Anthony not guilty, then we all should be thankful because we have a system based on evidence instead of passion. That’s the way it supposed to work, and it this case it did.

Fault the Florida prosecutors for presenting a case that required more leaps of faith than facts in evidence. From the very beginning and to this day after six weeks of trial we still do not know how Kaylee Anthony died.

Yes, she’s dead!

But, did the state tell us how she died?

No!

So, how can they say Anthony killed her?

She didn’t report the child missing for 30 days, she dance the night away, she told repeated lies about where Kayleee was, and got as tattoo to boot.

All true and all stipulated as such by the defense. But, where was the evidence that this mother killed her daughter, how did she do it?

That question was never answered by the state besides saying that it had to be the mother because she’s a liar. What else would she be lying about? And she acted like she was guilty.

Acting guilty is not proof of guilt, not in a court of law that demands the state prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

We all should be very glad about that.

Political Correctness passed Gay Marriage in New York

Gay Marriage passed because not enough good New Yorkers had the courage to fight it. That’s the power of Political Correctness.

The LGBT lobby was better organized to get what they wanted. It took action, and they were willing to do it.

But, on the other side where a majority of New Yorkers are against Gay Marriage in the comfort of their own homes , that’s why the battle was lost. Why bother and get labeled intolerant or a homophobe for fighting for a moral belief—the sanctity of marriage? That’s what Liberals count on and why they use PC bashing to discourage good people to fight, to speak out, or to take it to the streets.

I was away for a couple of weeks tending to a sick Dad with lung cancer. In that time I heard drips of news here and there concerning the Gay Marriage bill in my beloved New York.

It doesn’t look good for people who believe correctly that marriage should be between a man and a woman as the good Lord intended. Spare me the talk of marriage inequality and second class citizenship for homosexuals.

I couldn’t care less!

I believe in a Holy God that sets the rules on how we should live. And if that God says that homosexuality is an abomination in three different faiths (Christianity, Judaism, and the chic religion of the Left, Islam) then we all bear the burden of ignoring that decree.

However, it’s a tough pill to swallow that the deciding votes on this disgrace of a bill may come at the hands of worthless Republicans that have turned their backs on traditional values.

That this is happening is not surprising to me because I’ve lived in NY all my 48 yrs. So I know these GOP bustards are no better than Democrats.

But, it’s painful nonetheless!

I think New York needs to truly be called Sin City instead of Las Vegas. After all we have a governor in Andrew Cuomo who is a devout fornicator and we're the state who produced Anthony Weiner. How much of a freak show this state has become?

…she decides to run. As far as those who have a problem with Palin, they’re not really very important in the final analysis because I’m old enough to remember how people hated Reagan too before and during his presidency.

How did he work out?

People just can’t handle that she’s smart, beautiful, has a rugged good looking husband that loves her, five lovely children, was a mayor, a governor, and a successful businesswoman. She has it all and people with esteem issues, folks that want to be considered intellectuals on the Left and the Right don’t have the mental capacity to process it all, and let’s not forget the scores of less attractive women that hate her just for GP.

Don’t worry about it, Sarah, millions will rally to your side if you take the plunge!
