DEVELOPING: Cops in Grand Rapids, Michigan say the suspected triggerman in the slayings of seven people Thursday has released one of two people he's holding hostage. The woman, 53, was released unharmed. Last
night he was still holding a hostage in a  tense standoff with cops.
Cops say the suspect is Rodrick Shonte Dantzler, 34. The intense manhunt began after four people were found dead in a Grand Rapids home while three more bodies were found across town. Two of the dead are children. Dantzler then shot two more people who suffered non-life threatening injuries.

JULY 4 SLAUGHTER KENNETH MYERS EXECUTES FAMILY

CRAZY KENNETH
HE BUTCHERED his wife, her twin and his mother-in-law in a deadly July 4 weekend massacre, before turning the gun on himself.
Crazy Kenneth Myers, 46, led cops on a deadly high speed pursuit before leading them to the scene of the family slaughter in Columbia, SC.
Myers' wife, 25-year-old Angela; her twin sister, Tabitha Brown; her mother, 50-year-old Vicki Brown; and Myers' ex-wife, 47-year-old Esther Baldwin were all found executed from single gunshots.
Investigators spent all night trying to piece together why Myers might have gone on the killing spree. Deputies weren't immediately familiar with him before Saturday night.
"It's hard to say at this point in the investigation why those people were killed," Aiken County Sheriff's Capt. Charles Barranco said.

"We need to try to find some answers."
Myers' neighbor Robin Halsey told WRDW that only days ago the shooting suspect has discussed how he was feeding a "little stray dog."
She said: "He was talking about how he was going to catch it and take it home and try to save its life, and he was saying, 'I don't see how people can just throw a stray dog out on the street.'
'I can't understand how he could do this."
