CALI HEARTACHE: BODY LIKELY JULIANI CARDENA

A CALIFORNIA CANAL has given up the body of a small child feared kidnapped by his mother's ex-boyfriend. Stanislaus County Sheriff Adam Christianson said the body was found Tuesday morning from the Mendota Canal and detectives fear it is four-year-old  Juliani Cardenas.

The little boy was kidnapped from his home in Patterson, California--about 30 miles away.
"We have recovered the body of a small child whose physical description and clothing description matches our kidnapping victim," a mournful Christianson told reporters. "This is a very difficult time for everybody in the community."
The suspect in the kidnapping is Jose Rodriguez--the ex-boyfriend of Juliani's mom. His silver 2003 Toyota Corolla was pulled from the canal on the weekend. There was no sign of the suspected killer.
Tabitha Cardenas--Juliani's mom--is eight months pregnant with the suspected killer's daughter. She ditched him several months ago.

Troubled Julie told cops she shot to death her kids because "they were mouthy."
Police sources said she outlined in minute detail, the plan to kill her kids.

"She did tell us that they talked back, that they were mouthy," Tampa police spokeswoman Laura McElroy told CNN affiliate WTSP late last week. "But I don't think that will ever serve as an explanation to the rest of us of how you could take a child's life."

ACCORDING TO CNN: Schenecker told cops: she had initially planned what she called the "massacre" -- killing the children and then herself, McElroy said on Monday -- for January 22, but she put it off after learning there would be a three-day check before she could buy a gun.
Police later found writings in the house, thought to be from Schenecker, in which she spelled out her intentions in detail.

"There are definitely indications that she planned this," McElroy said. "(The writing) was devoid of emotion. Our belief was that she didn't snap -- she planned this.

Schenecker's husband, Parker, is a colonel in the U.S. Army. He is a member of U.S. Central Command. Police told CNN affiliate WFTS that he was in Qatar when his children were killed.

Cops say, LiLo was seen in a store video wearing the necklace--which then disappeared. After detectives began investigating and preparing a search warrant, a Lohan hanger-on brought the necklace to a nearby precinct. Hmmmmmm.

Formerly hard-partying Lohan is also under investigation for assaulting an employee of the Betty Ford Clinic where she was longtime guest. It was her fifth time in rehab.

Now living across the street from one time lesbian lover, rich kid DJ Sam Ronson, Lohan is desperately hoping to restart her career.

BUSH MURDER MASTERMIND HAS SENTENCE UPHELD

AL QAIDA assassination plotter Abu Ali had his life sentence upheld for conspiring to kill then President George Bush by the US Appeals Court.
Texas-born Ali signed confessions and made statements admitting to the plot after being picked up in Saudi Arabia where he was studying in 2003.
He also admitted to being part of an Al Qaida cell.But his attorneys claimed at trial he had been tortured into confessing by the Saudi police.

However the U.S. appeals court Tuesday upheld a life imprisonment sentence and rejected arguments by attorneys that it was unreasonable and violated various constitutional provisions.
Abu Ali initially was sentenced to 30 years in prison, but the appeals court in 2008 sided with U.S. Justice Department prosecutors and sent the case back for resentencing.
He then received the maximum term of life in prison.
The U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia Neil MacBride said he was pleased the appeals court upheld the sentence for a man who conspired to assassinate Bush and other high-ranking U.S. government and military leaders.

A WEIRD woman who tried to pop a live puppy in the mail has been busted for animal cruelty.
Stacey Champion, 39, left one Minneapolis postal worker stunned, when the air-mail package started to move by itself, fell to the floor and started panting.  
After unwrapping the tightly sealed box, they rescued the four-month-old black Poodle-Schaunzer mix pup which she had tried to mail to Georgia.  

Minneapolis Police Sgt. Angela Dodge called Champion's plan: "Crazy."
She said: "It was supposed to be a birthday gift for a family member. It would have been kind of traumatizing to get a dead puppy,''

"It gets 40 below in those cargo planes that get up 40,000 feet. And there was no food or water. Puppies can't go for long periods without food or water."
Champion, who paid $22 to send it declined to tell police why she decided to post the puppy, who workers have called Guess The Star Tribune reports. 
The worker who accepted the package asked all the standard questions: Any perishables, liquids, hazardous materials?
Champion said no, but then she cautioned postal workers to "be careful, be careful" as they handled the box because "it was so delicate."
On the outside of the package Champion wrote "This is for your 11th birthday. It's what you wanted," he said.
She also told the clerk that if sounds came from the package, not to worry, it just contained a toy robot.
Champion was cited for misdemeanor animal cruelty and has 10 days to appeal.

PENNSYLVANIA COPS have arrested a "wolf pack" of teens who assaulted a 13-year-old boy who was kidnapped and hung from a fence post.
Nadin Khoury was walking home from school when the vicious gang set on him punching, kicking and dragging him through the snow before stuffing him in a tree and hanging him by his coat of a
seven-foot high fence.
He was rescued when a woman jumped out of her car, scaring away his attackers and taking the boy home. 
Seven teens between the ages of 13 to 17 have been arrested in connection with the attack which lasted about 15 minutes, on a cell phone camera.

Police have charged the suspects with kidnapping, false imprisonment, reckless endangerment and other crimes.
"They're lucky they didn't kill him," Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood said.
Nadin said he was walking with a friend in broad daylight when the two were attacked.
He added: "When I got down from off the tree, they caught me again and starting kicking me and punching me," "And they put me on the gate."

TWISTED SWISS PEDO ABUSED OVER 100 DISABLED KIDS

A DISGUSTING Swiss therapist has admitted that to sexually abusing more than 100 special needs children in care homes.
Cops say the unidentified 54-year-old abused the children in nine different care homes in Switzerland and Germany over a 29-year period.
He was arrested in April last year, but authorities are refusing to reveal the identity of the man who has worked as a therapist since 1982 to prevent the investigation from being impeded by media interest.     
The head of Bern police's special investigations unit, Gabriele Berger said that the evidence against the man includes photos and hours of video recording the abuse.
She said: "One of the central questions of this investigation is how such levels of abuse could go undetected for so long." 
The man admitted sexually abusing 114 mentally handicapped children, some of whom also were physically impaired.
He also admitted eight further cases of attempted abuse, authorities said.
The news comes as a blow to cops who investigated him on allegations of sex abuse in 2003, but that probe was dropped due to conflicting evidence.
